Senior Product Manager, Platform Engineering (Kubernetes)

Location: McLean, Virginia; onsite in the office 5 days a week

Base salary: $125,000–$250,000 USD per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Define and execute the product roadmap for hirify.global on Kubernetes.
• Prioritize product investments using customer feedback, business impact, technical strategy, product metrics, and usage analytics.
• Partner with Engineering, architects, and engineers to define requirements, refine backlogs, and design scalable cloud-native platform capabilities.
• Establish product boundaries between customer-managed infrastructure and hirify.global-managed functionality.
• Own the product lifecycle from ideation and documentation through launch and ongoing enhancements.
• Build enterprise customer relationships and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on product direction and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Software Engineering within an enterprise software organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience managing products supporting both SaaS and customer-managed deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and containerized applications across deployment and operational lifecycles.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure concepts including scalability, availability, resiliency, and security.
• Excellent communication skills and experience partnering directly with enterprise customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher, or VMware Kubernetes Service.
• Experience building or supporting Internal Developer Platforms.
• Familiarity with DDIL environments and enterprise data sovereignty or regulatory requirements such as DORA.
• Experience supporting customers in government, financial services, healthcare, or life sciences.
