Product Manager, Platform - Cloud Infrastructure (Commercial/Federal)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States. U.S. citizenship is required for Federal customer engagements, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, roadmap, specifications, and release planning for deployment automation.
• Define deployment performance and reliability metrics, including tenant stand-up time, deployment success rate, recovery time, and patch latency.
• Profile deployment targets and customer environments across C3-managed, customer-managed, and Federal cloud environments.
• Drive customer-managed deployment capabilities such as private connectivity, customer-managed keys, IAM federation, network egress controls, and Kubernetes on customer clusters.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, Field Operations, Sales, Marketing, Services, and customers.
• Prioritize investments using platform metrics, deployment reports, customer feedback, and operational impact data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management or technical program management experience in cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and enterprise or public sector environments.
• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field; an MBA or Master of Science is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Apache Spark, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Federal cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
• Working fluency with Kubernetes networking, identity, and multi-tenant isolation; deployment-architect-level experience with VPC design, IAM, KMS/HSM, and private endpoints on at least one major cloud platform.
• Technical understanding of distributed systems, relational databases, key-value stores, code, and architecture diagrams.
• Product ownership experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, or CI/CD tooling such as Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD/Flux, Crossplane, or Tekton.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML platform deployment, agentic AI frameworks, enterprise SaaS deployment models, or LLM-powered workloads in regulated or air-gapped environments.
• Experience supporting FedRAMP Moderate or High authorization or DoD IL4–IL6 programs, including SSP contributions, control inheritance, POA&M management, and 3PAO collaboration.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and CMMC.
• Existing or obtainable U.S. government security clearance, such as Public Trust or Secret.
