Solutions Architect, EU Trade & Customs

Location: Netherlands, with hybrid work flexibility; candidates must be within commuting distance to Amsterdam

What you will do

• Lead technical sales work with EU customs authorities, finance ministries, and trade enforcement agencies.
• Architect solutions, run product demos, support deal closure, and translate customer needs into effective platform use cases.
• Apply expertise in customs enforcement and modernization, sanctions and export controls, forced labor and supply chain due diligence, and CBAM.
• Become a power user of the hirify.global platform and produce original analysis to support the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, data scientists, and customer-facing stakeholders on product development.
• Help establish hirify.global’s presence in the European Union through recruiting, knowledge building, and domain expertise development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in international trade, customs processes, economic security practices, and open or commercial data solutions.
• Experience working with and delivering software tools and frameworks.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboard discussions, presentations, and demos.
• Ability to connect customer business problems with platform solutions.
• Passion for solving complex challenges in global trade and motivation to build a new European Union business presence.

Nice to have

• Technical experience using modern AI tools.
• Working knowledge of European Union or member-state operations.
• Experience with government procurement processes.
