Senior Manager AI Architect

Location: Utrecht, hybrid; residence in the Netherlands and valid Dutch and/or EU work authorisation required

What you will do

• Lead AI-enabled transformation programmes that improve customer experience, operational efficiency and business performance.
• Design enterprise-scale AI architectures from strategy and business case development through implementation and adoption.
• Design Generative AI solutions using RAG, AI agents, vector databases, orchestration frameworks and large language models.
• Build prototypes, MVPs and proofs of concept to validate technical feasibility and business value.
• Define secure, scalable and responsible AI architectures, operating models, governance frameworks and adoption roadmaps.
• Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams and advise executives and senior stakeholders on AI strategy and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in consulting, solution architecture, enterprise architecture or digital transformation.
• Proven experience designing and delivering AI, Generative AI and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini or similar platforms.
• Experience with RAG, AI agents, vector search, orchestration frameworks and LLM integrations.
• Strong understanding of Responsible AI, security, governance, compliance and privacy requirements, plus knowledge of APIs, microservices and event-driven systems.
• Fluency in English, a Bachelor's and Master's degree or equivalent, and experience leading complex transformation programmes and multidisciplinary teams.
