Product Development Engineer (Advanced Electronics): Developing product structures and manufacturing solutions for customer requirements with an accent on cost optimization, design verification, and new product introduction. Focus on leading DFMEA, reviewing designs and process drawings, evaluating manufacturing feasibility, and resolving product issues across development and production.

What you will do
- Lead product quotations, cost analysis, and cost optimization across materials, labor, equipment, fixtures, capacity, and external supplier quotes.
- Lead DFMEA for new designs and define product verification, acceptance criteria, testing plans, and functional performance checks.
- Define product, material, packaging, and related specifications and standards.
- Support new product introduction through drawing conversion, design and process drawing reviews, manufacturing feasibility reviews, and DFM activities.
- Track development issues, execute product ECN/PCN changes, procure NPI sample materials, and maintain product data and documentation.
- Support production issue resolution, customer complaint handling, lean production, and factory innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in product design and more than 5 years of NPI experience.
- English CET 4 or above required; reading and writing are required.
- Strong skills in CAD, ProE, and 3D design, with familiarity with stamping, electroplating, and assembly processes.
- Experience with product design, manufacturing processes, and technical communication with customers or internal teams.
- Onsite position based in Shenzhen Baoan, Guangdong, China.
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive parts or datacom electronics.
- Knowledge of EMI and thermal technologies.
- FEA experience and extensive DFMEA experience.
- Tooling design knowledge and Six Sigma expertise.
- Oral English communication skills.
