Senior Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Beijing, China; onsite. Requires approximately 5% overnight travel within the territory, including supplier visits, and occasional international travel to Singapore.

What you will do

• Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials and components according to approved procedures, drawings, inspection plans, and sampling plans.
• Perform First Article Inspection and outgoing quality checks, including batch record and DHR review, to support product release.
• Maintain inspection records, batch documentation, and quality data in the QMS to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Global Sourcing to align inspection criteria and communicate defects.
• Apply problem-solving tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone analysis, and participate in Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in an engineering-related field, or relevant quality inspection certification, with 3–5 years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing requirements.
• Experience using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, gauges, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and energetic.
• Availability for approximately 5% travel, including overnight supplier visits and occasional travel to Singapore.

Nice to have

• Experience in an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMM and optical measurement equipment.
• Documentation control experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
