What you will do

  • Lead the architecture, design, simulation, and layout supervision of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Define design specifications, block diagrams, and interface requirements based on system-level performance goals.
  • Run SPICE, Spectre, and AMS simulations across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
  • Develop test plans and perform silicon validation, characterization, debugging, and root-cause analysis in the laboratory.
  • Collaborate with system architects, digital, firmware, and test engineers across the product lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior engineers and produce schematics, simulation reports, test reports, and design reviews.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design, preferably in optical communications or high-speed data networking.
  • Experience bringing complex analog designs from concept through high-volume production.
  • Expertise in high-speed amplifiers, ADCs/DACs, PLLs, SERDES components, voltage regulators, and sensor interfaces.
  • Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and AMS simulation environments, plus knowledge of semiconductor device physics, advanced CMOS processes, and layout effects.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and arbitrary waveform generators.
