Senior Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer/Lead

Annual base salary: USD 109,700–175,500

What you will do

• Design analog blocks, systems, and sub-systems using behavioral modeling and transistor-level circuit design.
• Optimize circuit architectures for noise, distortion, power consumption, area, performance, and cost.
• Lead or support projects with analog engineering teams and oversee custom physical layout.
• Define analog-digital chip interfaces, package pinouts, package routing, and PC test board schematics.
• Characterize IC performance with laboratory equipment and debug analog circuit issues.
• Develop production tests with automatic test engineers and document circuit operation and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or a master's degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years.
• Proficiency in analog design, including high-speed amplifiers up to hundreds of MHz and high-speed comparators.
• In-depth knowledge of CMOS devices, analog and RF layout, simulation, noise, linearity, and power optimization.
• Experience with analog and mixed-signal IP such as ADCs, DACs, references, oscillators, and LDOs.
• Experience with Cadence Analog Artist, Cadence Virtuoso, verification and extraction, system-level tools such as MatLab, and ATE support.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
