Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Location: Remote from Brazil, Colombia, or Ecuador only

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of Android development experience, including at least 2 years with Kotlin.
• Proficiency with MVVM or an equivalent architecture, Android Studio, the Android build process, and Android release cycles.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose or other declarative frameworks, imperative frameworks, Google APIs, web services, Git, and code reviews.
• At least one published application in the Google Play Store, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English resumes are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise Android environments and provisioning workflows.
• Familiarity with low-level Android tooling and custom Android OS builds, including AOSP-based distributions, userdebug or eng builds, GSIs, and rooted devices.

What you will do

• Develop new and existing native Android applications using Kotlin, Compose, and industry best practices.
• Support and manage in-house Android mobile applications used by IT professionals.
• Test and maintain applications while identifying development efficiencies and recommending improvements.
• Document new applications and changes to existing applications.
• Support continuous integration and automated testing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on customer-facing mobile products.
