Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Bengaluru, India; office attendance at least 3 days a week for candidates within reasonable commuting distance

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable and secure distributed backend services.
• Automate testing for web-based and mobile applications, RESTful APIs, and high-transaction SaaS products.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, performance analysis, security, maintainability, and software development standards.
• Research and benchmark tools and technologies, improve automation and testing practices, and support deployments and releases.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, identify bottlenecks, and help drive a quality-first engineering culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of professional experience building web-scale, highly available, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, backend frameworks, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with C# and the .NET framework or .NET Core.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and a solid understanding of cloud-native services.
• Extensive experience with SQL, relational database design, query optimization, data modeling, and transactional flows.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, security, API gateways, identity management, messaging such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, workflow orchestration, job scheduling, and search.
