QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end manual testing for web and mobile products, from feature validation through release sign-off.
• Write and execute test cases, scenarios, and regression suites for smooth releases.
• Perform REST API testing with Postman, validating requests, responses, status codes, backend flows, and data.
• Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with clear reproduction steps.
• Test across browsers, devices, and platforms using BrowserStack and LambdaTest.
• Support Agile ceremonies, UAT, release validation, production sanity checks, and debugging through log and dashboard analysis.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on manual testing experience.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• Practical knowledge of REST API testing and request/response validation.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools and functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
• Basic SQL and database validation skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Grafana, Kibana, Mixpanel, CleverTap, or similar monitoring and analytics tools.
• Basic Java or API automation knowledge, including REST Assured.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, ArgoCD, Android Studio, Charles, or Proxyman.
• Experience with high-scale consumer products, startup environments, mentoring, or QA process improvement.
