Sr. UI/UX Designer (Contract)

hirify.global develops the aprevo® personalized surgery platform to improve outcomes and reduce the cost of spine surgery.

What you will do

• Conduct interviews, workflow studies, and contextual observations with surgeons, clinicians, and internal users.
• Design interfaces for complex desktop and web applications supporting surgical planning, visualization, workflow automation, and case review.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, then conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Contribute to a scalable design system and consistent, accessible UI standards across the platform.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, clinical stakeholders, regulatory teams, and quality teams to deliver implementable solutions.
• Present user flows, design concepts, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of UI/UX design experience for web, desktop, or enterprise software applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience designing workflow-intensive or data-rich interfaces, including planning, visualization, or configuration tools.
• Strong user-centered design, usability testing, visual communication, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Axure.
• Familiarity with usability engineering, risk mitigation, traceability, IEC 62366, and ISO 13485 in regulated environments.

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or visualization platforms.
