Freelance Senior UX Designer

Location: Hybrid role requiring attendance at an Atlanta-based client's campus 1–2 days per week, with visits to restaurants for research studies and innovation insights.

What you will do

• Design and execute digital experiences for a leading quick-serve restaurant brand serving millions of customers and team members.
• Understand customer, staff, and operator needs through research, empathy, and usability studies.
• Ideate, wireframe, prototype, and refine intuitive, functional, and on-brand web and app experiences.
• Work strategically and tactically across multiple product lanes within a complex interaction system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to evaluate tradeoffs and deliver strong design solutions.
• Advocate for design improvements, innovation, and continuous refinement of processes and deliverables.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience applying user-centered design principles to digital products and services.
• Strong understanding of web and app paradigms and contemporary interaction patterns.
• High proficiency in Figma, including components, layouts, design systems, wireframes, interactions, and prototypes.
• Experience planning and synthesizing research such as in-depth interviews and usability testing.
• Portfolio demonstrating distinctive product and service design work.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong cross-functional collaboration experience.
