Quality Inspector (Metal Additive Manufacturing)

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; onsite weekday day shift, Monday–Wednesday and every other Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Hourly pay: $23–$38 per hour

What you will do

• Perform first article inspections and routine dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and advanced inspection equipment.
• Verify materials, equipment, processes, and products against quality specifications, safety regulations, and applicable customer and industry requirements.
• Develop and validate inspection and test methods and assist with SOPs and inspection protocols.
• Monitor, analyze, and report product quality metrics while supporting audits, gap analysis, process controls, and continuous improvement.
• Investigate production and product issues, issue non-conformance reports, and support MRB hardware disposition and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations personnel, communicate nonconformances, and manage daily priorities independently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience performing part inspections with strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of GD&T, AQL sampling, root cause analysis, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with first article inspections, test method validation, and developing inspection methods.
• Experience in medical device, aerospace, or defense manufacturing is required.
• Hands-on experience with CMMs, PCMMs, vision systems, profilometers, and blue light scanners, including equipment from Zeiss, Faro, or Keyence.
• Ability to troubleshoot inspection equipment and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
