Salary: $150,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity.

Company

hirify.global is an AI robotics company developing autonomous supply-chain systems and generalist robots for warehouses and fulfillment operations.

What you will do

  • Own the mechanical architecture and design of robotic subsystems, including structures, mechanisms, frames, housings, precision assemblies, warehouse layouts, and automation equipment integration.
  • Create production-ready 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, GD&T schemes, datum structures, and tolerance stack-up analyses.
  • Perform engineering calculations, structural and stress analysis, FEA, testing, validation, and reliability qualification.
  • Design for manufacturing, assembly, serviceability, reliability, and cost while selecting mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Lead prototype builds, debugging, root-cause investigations, field improvements, supplier development, first-article inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Partner with controls, software, electrical, embedded, perception, manufacturing, supply-chain, and quality teams while mentoring engineers and improving design standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing complex mechanical or electromechanical hardware.
  • Deep expertise in machine design, mechanisms, structural and stress analysis, solid mechanics, materials, and product development.
  • Strong GD&T expertise using ASME Y14.5 and proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Creo.
  • Understanding of machining, sheet metal, injection molding, weldments, assembly methods, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration.
  • Experience driving supplier quality, cost reduction, quantitative engineering decisions, and cross-functional hardware development.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with industrial robotics, warehouse automation, autonomous systems, dynamic simulations, FEA, MBD, or tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Experience scaling products from prototype to high-volume manufacturing, including VA/VE, design-to-cost, supplier-quality, and reliability programs.
  • Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work on robotic systems deployed in large-scale fulfillment operations alongside engineering teams spanning robotics, AI, software, and automation.
  • Unlimited flexible time off.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid parental leave, commuter benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
  • Equity participation, referral bonuses, and professional growth opportunities.
