Full Stack Java Engineer (Workforce Management)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and support scalable cloud-native backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive, accessible web applications with React, TypeScript, reusable components, and modern state management.
• Develop REST APIs using API-first practices with clear OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and reliable error handling.
• Design modular microservices and event-driven solutions, including integrations through REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, and event streaming.
• Optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries, containerize applications, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality gates.
• Improve production performance, resilience, scalability, observability, and maintainability while collaborating with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience with production applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management, and modern testing practices.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, SQL, and PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases.
• Experience deploying or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications, with familiarity with Kubernetes, observability tools, and secure software delivery.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and clear technical documentation and client-facing communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workforce Management, Customer Experience, contact center, or customer service solutions.
• Experience with AWS, Amazon Connect, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, or similar communication technologies.
• Knowledge of workforce optimization, including forecasting, scheduling, routing, and adherence.
• Experience integrating CRM, HR, identity, payroll, and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
