TL;DR

What you will do

  • Define vehicle functions, E/E system architecture, electrical and electronic schematics, functional specifications, and module assignments.
  • Lead E/E system coordination and integration across energy management, networking, chassis, powertrain, comfort, connectivity, body, autonomous driving, UI/UX, and HV/LV EDS.
  • Coordinate interfaces with the Autonomous Driving Division and vehicle production and manufacturing organizations.
  • Define testing parameters and coordinate component-level EMC validation, vehicle-level EMC, short-circuit analysis, circuit-protection validation, and sneak-circuit analysis.
  • Manage risks, fallback solutions, budgets, recruiting, organization, international synchronization, costs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Report vehicle E/E status, risks, and relevant information to the VP and board members.

Requirements

  • Automotive industry background in E/E systems and architecture, suppliers, technology, or innovation.
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems development and systems integration.
  • Experience negotiating and managing a business unit.
  • Master’s degree, PhD, or comparable education.
  • Strong systems knowledge, networking skills, self-organization, and motivation.
