Robotics Research Scientist Intern (Winter/Spring 2026)

What you will do

• Conduct open-ended research for intelligent robotic systems.
• Work closely with robotics researchers and engineers.
• Develop and improve AI models used in robotics.
• Contribute to robot manipulation, motion planning, optimization, perception, and computer vision projects.
• Apply research to robots operating in factories and warehouses.

Requirements

• Exceptionally strong programming skills.
• Significant research experience, including first-author publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences such as ICRA.
• Experience solving open-ended research problems.
• Strong collaboration skills and interest in working with researchers and engineers.
• Willingness to work directly in factories or warehouses.

Nice to have

• Experience training and improving AI models, especially diffusion policies for robotics.
• Advanced Python proficiency.
• Experience with robot arms and manipulation.
• Experience with motion planning, robot optimization, perception, or computer vision.
• Experience with infrastructure and developer tools such as systemd, Docker, or Kubernetes.
