What you will do

  • Design and develop high-fidelity simulation environments for robotics training, evaluation, perception, navigation, manipulation, and embodied AI.
  • Model robot dynamics, sensors, contacts, physics, and environmental interactions, then calibrate and validate outputs against real-world robot behavior.
  • Build scalable workflows and production-quality tooling for simulation creation, execution, evaluation, robot learning, and synthetic data generation.
  • Develop benchmarks for robotics models and improve policy transfer through calibration, benchmarking, and domain randomization.
  • Collaborate with robotics, machine learning, world model, AI systems, and research teams.
  • Optimize simulation performance, reliability, testing, scalability, and physical realism.

Requirements

  • Experience building robotics simulation systems for robotics, autonomy, embodied AI, or physical AI.
  • Experience with robotics simulators such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, PyBullet, Gazebo, Drake, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of robot dynamics, physics simulation, sensor modeling, and sim-to-real transfer.
  • Strong software engineering skills in Python, C++, or similar languages, with experience writing reliable, maintainable, and well-tested production software.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with robotics, machine learning, and research teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Omniverse and GPU-accelerated simulation.
  • Experience generating synthetic data for robotics or machine learning.
  • Experience with domain randomization or procedural environment generation.
  • Familiarity with ROS2 and modern robotics software stacks.
  • MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
