1st Shift - Trainer

What you will do

• Deliver departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for hourly associates using approved materials.
• Evaluate trainee performance and make recommendations aligned with training standards.
• Complete required training documentation accurately and on time.
• Support new hires as a friendly point of contact throughout onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to update training materials and maintain availability for daily training needs.
• Assist the department manager with training activities in the home department.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
• High influencing skills.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience training peers or groups.
• Experience facilitating training or presentations for groups of five or more students.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills.
