Company

hirify.global develops cell rejuvenation approaches intended to restore cell health and resilience and address disease, injury, and age-related disabilities.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and scale end-to-end automated laboratory workflows for high-content imaging, NGS library preparation, cell culture maintenance, mRNA production, and high-throughput screening.
  • Transform manual assays into robust, scalable automated processes and troubleshoot liquid-handling, workflow, hardware, and software interfaces.
  • Program and maintain Hamilton, Tecan, Beckman, Agilent/Bionex, and other laboratory automation platforms using tools such as Venus, EVOware, Cellario, Green Button GO, and VWorks.
  • Integrate robots, instruments, scheduling systems, data capture, and LIMS to support reliable data flow into AI/ML pipelines.
  • Evaluate instruments, manage installation and production integration, maintain vendor relationships, and support automation lifecycle planning.
  • Establish version control and documentation practices, train production users, and potentially lead a team of laboratory automation scientists.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of laboratory automation experience in drug discovery or high-throughput production environments.
  • Expertise across multiple laboratory automation software platforms and experience with third-party driver development.
  • Experience selecting or managing LIMS and informatics transitions.
  • Hands-on ability to analyze complex liquid- and plate-handling workflows, troubleshoot integrated systems, and assess assay variance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across interdisciplinary scientific and engineering teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PCR, sequencing, molecular biology, and high-throughput automation for molecular or analytical applications.
  • Experience automating RNA-seq, transcriptional profiling, spatial, or single-cell workflows.
  • Experience screening small molecules, siRNA, and other modalities in in vitro and cell-based assays.
  • Experience automating high-throughput production of mRNA, plasmids, functional genomic libraries, or NGS library preparation.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work is connected to a mission focused on cell rejuvenation and therapeutic discovery.
  • Collaboration across biological, computational, scientific, and engineering functions is central to the role.
  • The organization emphasizes belonging, inclusion, scientific excellence, learning, and shared ownership of its mission.
  • Equal employment opportunities are provided in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
