Senior Director or Vice President, Product (AI Pharma)

Location: Hybrid work with 3 days per week in office, primarily in the New York City and Boston metro areas. Applicants from the Research Triangle and San Francisco Bay Area may also be considered; candidates must reside in these locations or be willing to relocate.

Total compensation: Senior Director $270,000–$353,000; Vice President $374,000–$467,000 per year, plus equity, comprehensive benefits, and additional perks.

What you will do

• Own product strategy for a drug development problem domain such as candidate evaluation, clinical trial execution, or regulatory intelligence.
• Drive adoption of LLMs, agentic workflows, and autonomous systems where they create measurable leverage.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers, setting roadmaps and making resourcing trade-offs.
• Partner with clinical, translational, regulatory, and business development leaders to translate domain problems into technology solutions.
• Guide real-world evidence analysis, prediction pipelines, clinical strategies, dataset evaluation, and engineering approaches.
• Build products that operate within GxP requirements and clinical data governance standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology delivery with progressively broader scope.
• Experience leading product or technology strategy with accountability for business outcomes.
• Life sciences experience in biotech, pharma, or a related industry, with an understanding of the drug development lifecycle.
• Professional experience deploying or leading LLM-based or agentic systems and evaluating AI/ML approaches.
• Technical fluency across engineering, data science, architecture, data pipelines, and machine learning trade-offs.
• Experience leading teams that include engineers, data scientists, and product managers.

Nice to have

• Experience in early-stage companies, transformation efforts, or new initiatives with ambiguous scope.
• Strong familiarity with clinical trial design, asset valuation, regulatory strategy, and competitive dynamics.
