Technical Recruiter

Location: Los Angeles; onsite full-time. Hybrid and remote work are not considered.

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annually, plus potential stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the full-cycle recruitment process for technical and operational roles, from intake and sourcing through screening and closing.
• Partner with leaders and hiring managers by providing market insights, calibrating on talent, and improving interview processes.
• Conduct initial interviews assessing capability, excellence, cultural alignment, and role fit.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies using networking, events, targeted campaigns, and approaches beyond Boolean searches.
• Deliver strong candidate experiences and track recruiting metrics to improve operational performance.
• Maintain applicant tracking system accuracy while supporting university recruiting, onsite interview coordination, and recruiting process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience, an associate degree and 2+ years of experience, or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate value clearly.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently with speed, ownership, accountability, judgment, and attention to detail.
• Strong discretion when handling sensitive information and advising on hiring decisions.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Must work onsite full-time in Los Angeles.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting mechanical, electrical, chemical, software, nuclear, or other technical engineers.
• Experience hiring for specialized roles such as building architects, chemical engineers, or nuclear licensing engineers.
• Expertise in non-standard recruiting methods, including cold outreach, networking events, industry expert identification, and targeted sourcing campaigns.
• Motivation to restore US fuel enrichment capabilities and strengthen national energy security.
