Tech Lead / Software Development Engineer III (Node)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers.
• Design and architect scalable, secure, high-performance multi-tenant microservices.
• Develop and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Conduct code reviews, improve code quality, and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Lead feature planning, execution, and delivery in collaboration with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a lead or senior engineer with strong expertise in a server-side language such as Node, Python, or Go.
• Experience with API development using TypeScript and frameworks such as Express.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud computing, and major cloud providers.
• Ability to build and deploy applications in containerized environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code, such as AWS CloudFormation.
