Mac/Linux Support Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; onsite four days per week

What you will do

• Provide in-person internal IT support for employees in Lisbon and remote support for international offices.
• Provision, deploy, deprovision, and maintain Mac laptops, Linux desktops, and other employee hardware.
• Manage IT hardware stock, inventory, meeting-room equipment, and office technology.
• Contribute to OS and configuration management updates, systems integration, network upgrades, scripting, and tool development.
• Support employee and external events and partner with the global IT team to deliver consistent support.
• Identify improvements proactively and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Linux and Mac OS.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, user-first problem-solving, prioritization, and independent execution skills.

Nice to have

• Technical support experience, including executive-level support and customer-facing work.
• Familiarity with mobile device management systems such as JAMF Pro.
• Network troubleshooting, audiovisual support, and Google Meet experience.
• Google Workspace administration.
• Bash, Python, or Golang experience.
• Infrastructure-as-code, procurement, and inventory management experience.
