IT Engineer, Manufacturing Systems (MES)

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, optimize, and enhance the manufacturing execution system (MES).
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, traceability, system performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and troubleshoot system issues.
• Support integration between the MES and related systems, including manufacturing IT infrastructure and applications.
• Analyze manufacturing data to support production management and decision-making.
• Configure and maintain PCs, tablets, handheld devices, label printers, and other manufacturing IT equipment.

Requirements

• Experience implementing, operating, or supporting MES in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Experience coordinating and negotiating with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to document business requirements and software specifications for outsourced developers.
• Basic programming skills in Visual Basic, ASP.NET, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
• Basic knowledge of networking, Windows operating systems, and databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• English communication skills equivalent to TOEIC 500 or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience working with outsourced vendors or system integrators.
