IT Administrator

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; on-site

What you will do

• Evaluate, deploy, administer, and maintain hardware, software, end-user devices, and core IT infrastructure.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, including remote and traveling staff, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor system performance, network availability, and infrastructure health; perform routine checks, patching, updates, and preventative maintenance.
• Support onboarding through account setup, equipment provisioning, software installation, configuration, and user orientation.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, software licenses, subscription records, and user guides.
• Coordinate with vendors, support cybersecurity practices, and recommend improvements to IT systems and tools.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience managing end-user environments, hardware, and core infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, user account management, endpoint management, and hardware provisioning.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices such as patching, MFA, and endpoint protection.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide strong customer service; extended hours or shift work may occasionally be required.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or other relevant certifications.
