Junior / Intermediate Project Manager – Space Propulsion

Location: Delft, South Holland, Netherlands. Occasional travel to customer sites or Dawn offices is required, approximately 10% of the time. Morning or evening meetings may be needed to coordinate with stakeholders across Asia, the US, and other offices.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of in-space satellite propulsion projects and ensure the successful, timely delivery of hardware.
• Act as the primary customer contact and coordinate delivery with engineering, AIT, procurement, and other internal teams.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate solutions across multidisciplinary teams.
• Improve customer onboarding and project execution practices.
• Support quality management throughout project execution and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Degree in aerospace, mechanical, systems engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a technical or engineering role with project management exposure, or in project management involving technical work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, organisational, problem-solving, adaptability, and prioritisation skills.
• Willingness to accommodate morning or evening meetings with international customers and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience with space projects and familiarity with spacecraft systems or design standards.
• Exposure to systems engineering methods.
• Experience working in geographically distributed teams.
• Customer-facing project delivery experience in an international context.
