Senior Engineering Project Manager (Aerospace): Leading the technical execution, integration, and operational support of radar systems for space domain awareness and national security missions with an accent on contract-driven requirements, deliverables, scheduling, and engineering prioritization. Focus on maintaining traceability from contract language through implementation and verification, balancing engineering capacity across multiple contracts, and surfacing schedule and resource risks early.
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to Menlo Park and other client sites. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance is required.

What you will do
- Translate contracts and awards into engineering requirements, milestones, deliverables, and execution plans.
- Lead planning and execution for radar system development, integration, testing, and operational support.
- Manage requirements, traceability, contract deliverables, milestone progress, and technical documentation.
- Maintain project schedules and Jira workflows, identify schedule risks, and ensure work items remain linked to contract milestones.
- Coordinate prioritization, workload balancing, person-hour budgeting, and staffing visibility across active and incoming contracts.
- Serve as the liaison between Radar Systems engineering and contracts, product, go-to-market, compliance, leadership, and customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in radar systems, sensor systems, aerospace, defense, or related technical environments.
- Experience managing technical execution across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, planning, contract navigation, and software development lifecycle skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Experience with radar or other sensor systems, strong mathematics, and space domain awareness or missile tracking.
- Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Space Force programs.
- Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance and experience with classified programs or secure operational environments.
