Test Technician | Shared Test Services (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in St. Albans, Vermont, United States

Salary: $28–$34 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble mechanical and electrical test fixtures, including wiring.
• Set up, execute, clean up, and document aerospace environmental tests.
• Test aircraft assemblies and components, including flight control computers and high-voltage battery packs.
• Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot internally developed and purchased test equipment.
• Follow test procedures and plans while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Support a safe, positive, and efficient work environment and comply with all safety requirements.

Requirements

• Two-year engineering degree or certificate from an accredited college, university, or technical school, or at least two years of related technical work experience.
• Ability to assist with problem analysis and make independent decisions.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and electronic schematics.
• Good team communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and application lifecycle concepts.

Nice to have

• Computer-aided design experience.
• Python or similar programming experience.
• Battery cell or high-voltage DC electrical system experience.
• Knowledge of DO-160.
• Aerospace design verification or compliance testing experience.
