Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: $135,000–$280,000 annual base pay, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop forecasting interfaces, data pipelines, and inference servers to predict customer-support contact volume.
• Build systems that determine the optimal number of support agents needed for specific days and times.
• Design interfaces for collecting and storing team preferences and customer business constraints.
• Implement scheduling algorithms for teams of thousands of support agents.
• Improve machine-learning operations to enable rapid model deployment and iteration.

Requirements

• Experience with Python libraries including pandas, SciPy, and seaborn for statistical or predictive work.
• Previous experience on a machine-learning or algorithmic team.
• Strong focus on improving statistical and runtime performance.
• United States applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.
