Salary: $180,000 – $190,000

What you will do

• Build flexible, AI-powered approval workflows and intelligent collections agents.
• Rearchitect billing infrastructure to handle 10x throughput and load.
• Design systems that process high-velocity event streams with a focus on reliability.
• Collaborate directly with product and design teams to ship end-to-end features.
• Make technical decisions that balance cost, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

• Experience shipping production backend systems with a focus on reliability.
• Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage product development.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Interest in distributed systems and resilient software design.
• Must be able to work from the New York office 3 days per week.
