Staff Product Designer (AI Builder)

Location: United States; remote-first

Salary: $207,666–$249,166 annually, plus a target 20% annual bonus and competitive equity.

What you will do

• Own a major customer journey or product experience across hirify.global web and native mobile products.
• Set the experience vision, define product bets, and align partners around a long-term direction.
• Conduct generative and evaluative research, user testing, and rapid feedback loops with families.
• Design and build interactive prototypes and contribute production-quality frontend code, including micro-interactions, loading, empty, error, and keyboard states.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, reusable components, and cross-platform interaction patterns.
• Develop designers and collaborators by sharing AI-enabled workflows, feedback, tools, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating shipped consumer product work across web and native mobile.
• Strong product design craft, systems thinking, interaction design, information architecture, and product strategy skills.
• Ability to independently plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research and use evidence to guide decisions.
• Ability to rapidly create interactive prototypes and write production frontend code.
• Experience using AI as part of daily design and product development workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, engineers, analysts, executives, and other designers while owning the experience layer.
