Senior Associate - Export Compliance (f/m/x)

What you will do

• Lead the export control and sanctions compliance programme with the Chief Export Control Officer and Legal Team.
• Own classification, licensing, and technology-transfer workflows.
• Develop compliance workflows, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Support company projects and coordinate end-to-end export control processes for shipments.
• Deliver export control and sanctions training for employees.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, and People Teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, law, economics, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of hands-on, in-house export control and sanctions compliance experience in an R&D-intensive organisation.
• Strong knowledge of German, EU, and U.S. export control and sanctions laws and regulations.
• Pragmatic, business-oriented judgement and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English and at least a good command of German.
