TL;DR

Trade Compliance Specialist (Legal): Ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, export control reviews, and customs management with an accent on national and European regulations. Focus on managing export licenses, optimizing internal guidelines, and preparing audit documentation.

Location: Onsite with 10 home office days per month. Must have very good German and good English skills

What you will do

  • Perform export control reviews of business transactions to ensure compliance with national, European, and international regulations.
  • Manage export control licenses and contribute to the development of internal guidelines and processes.
  • Prepare analyses, reports, and documentation for internal audits and external authorities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize export control and customs processes.
  • Support the customs team with import/export documentation and maintain trade-related master data.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of export control and trade compliance.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Structured, careful, and well-organized way of working with strong attention to detail.
  • High integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of SAP and GTS.
  • Experience with documentation and administrative processes.
