What you will do
- Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing solutions engineering team, including performance management and career planning.
- Set team culture, operating cadence, engineering standards, and long-term hiring plans.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications, software solutions, and integrations across customer-facing and internal initiatives.
- Translate evolving business requirements into technical solutions, execution plans, project scopes, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
- Track delivery health, risks, dependencies, blockers, resource utilization, capacity, SLAs, and incident trends through dashboards and reporting.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex integrations, implementation decisions, problem-solving, and AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering or released software experience, including 4+ years managing engineers.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and delivering complex projects in fast-moving environments.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture and system design.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, plus familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, and agile practices.
- Advanced proficiency with AI tools, specifically Claude at Level 3 or equivalent, including prompt engineering and workflow integration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, project management, mentoring, hiring, and performance management skills.
