Senior Accountant, Build Operations

hirify.global is scaling manufacturing operations for the Titan printer platform and developing construction operations supported by new cost accounting infrastructure.

What you will do

• Execute ASC 606 revenue recognition, including contract asset and liability disclosures, across hirify.global's income streams.
• Perform project accounting for construction projects using percentage-of-completion and milestone-based methods.
• Prepare project-level P&Ls, track costs, identify variances, and analyze margin trends.
• Execute the monthly close for manufacturing and project accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage labor and cost allocation methodologies and prepare schedules and workpapers for financial reporting and external audits.
• Partner with Operations, FP&A, project managers, and segment leads to ensure financial data reflects operational activity.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience with direct exposure to cost, project, or construction accounting.
• CPA certification required or CPA licensure actively pursued.
• Hands-on experience with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple workstreams during a fast-moving monthly close.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, FP&A, and project management teams.

Nice to have

• Background in construction, manufacturing, or government contracting.
• Experience with NetSuite.
