What you will do

• Define system-level hardware architectures and technical requirements for next-generation tester platforms and supporting infrastructure.
• Lead hardware programs from concept and feasibility through design, validation, qualification, and manufacturing release.
• Review hardware architectures, schematics, PCB layouts, simulations, validation plans, and qualification strategies.
• Resolve complex issues involving high-speed interfaces, signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and system integration.
• Drive root-cause investigations, corrective actions, hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and failure analysis.
• Provide technical leadership across ASIC, FPGA, Firmware, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Validation, Quality, Supply Chain, suppliers, and external design partners.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of hardware design and development experience, including 5+ years leading hardware architecture and technical development for complex electronic systems.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and making architecture decisions.
• Expertise in high-speed digital design, PCB architecture, signal integrity, power integrity, power-distribution networks, EMI/EMC, and thermal management.
• Experience with PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6, USB, I2C, SMBus, UART, DDR memory systems, SPI, JTAG, and other high-speed serial or control interfaces.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro or equivalent PCB design tools, FPGA/CPLD integration, hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and manufacturing support.
