Engineer II - PCBA Process (SMT Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop, configure, optimize, and simulate PCBA manufacturing processes from start-up through ongoing production.
• Assess process capacity, perform measurements and data interpretation, and support line balancing.
• Design, test, run, and upgrade production systems and workflows while improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Coordinate launch-plan activities within the assigned scope and engage with contract manufacturing sites.
• Conduct risk assessments, site audits, process documentation, operating-instruction development, and mitigation planning.
• Implement continuous-improvement and cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in PCBA manufacturing processes, or at least 2 years in the industry or 3–5 years in another relevant industry.
• Hands-on process-engineering experience, practical technical skills, and knowledge of industry process standards.
• Knowledge of SMT front- and backend processes, process simulations, MES, Agile systems, running production environments, and auditing techniques.
• Strong coordination, communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and team-working skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ability to prepare training materials and conduct training.
