Associate Engineer, Process Engineering (Semiconductor)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite role based in the GF Malaysia office

What you will do

• Review and analyze SPC and FDC charts according to module control action systems and standard operating procedures.
• Review setup data and release tools in accordance with approved procedures.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide accurate pass-downs for tool and process inhibits, lot disposition, and line issues.
• Assist engineers with qualification activities, process improvement projects, new process implementation, and new equipment qualification.
• Coordinate with process engineering, equipment engineering, technicians, manufacturing engineering, and other modules to meet operational objectives.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on process robustness, cost efficiency, and capacity.

Requirements

• Diploma in electrical, electronics, mechanical, mechatronics, microelectronics, chemical process engineering, chemistry, or physics.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, initiative, and accountability skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
• Flexibility to support overtime.
• Willingness to learn new skills and support global manufacturing operations.
