Fullstack Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines and API integrations into Redshift, with orchestration through GitHub Actions.
• Develop documented dbt models, business metrics, customer health signals, financial KPIs, and a scalable semantic layer for LLM queries.
• Ship production-ready predictive models for churn, usage forecasting, anomaly detection, and upsell signals.
• Build Looker dashboards, self-serve analytics, and proactive alerting for operational and product metrics.
• Use AI coding tools and contribute to internal data products that power AI agents.
• Partner with founders, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to provide data-led recommendations and define analytics strategy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience across full-stack data work, including ETL, modeling, analytics, and predictive analysis.
• Strong Python, SQL, and dbt experience.
• Strong academic background and excellent communication skills.
• Experience building systems from scratch in a startup, or a strong desire to do so.
• Comfort using AI coding tools daily and working with ambiguity, tight timelines, and shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redshift, GitHub Actions, and AWS.
• Experience building anomaly detection or metric monitoring systems.
• Experience with LLMs or data layers designed for AI agents.
