Senior iOS Engineer (Adtech)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Annual base salary: $165,000–$200,000 USD, with potential discretionary bonus and options.

What you will do

• Build and maintain iOS advertising functionality in the hirify.global app and publisher-facing SDK.
• Own rich-media and native ad rendering, including creative loading, display, performance, and user experience.
• Ensure accurate viewability, impression, click, and billing signals and reconcile them with partner measurements.
• Own client-side mediation, including demand requests, prioritization, caching, and fallback behavior.
• Integrate and maintain external advertising SDKs such as Google and Meta through upgrades and platform changes.
• Monitor production health, investigate crashes and vendor SDK issues, and measure changes through experiments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production iOS development with Swift and/or Objective-C.
• End-to-end ownership of a meaningful module, from design and implementation through launch and ongoing maintenance.
• Experience with MRAID, OMID, or comparable third-party content rendering inside a native app.
• Strong debugging skills, including root-cause analysis from crash stacks and sparse logs without a reliable local reproduction.
• Experience shipping experiments, interpreting metrics, and working comfortably with product, QA, and non-engineering partners.
• Regular use of AI coding assistants with the ability to explain and defend submitted work.

Nice to have

• Mediation or in-app bidding experience.
• SDK development, public API design, backward compatibility, and dependency management experience.
• Experience with feed, video, or other latency-sensitive mobile surfaces.
• Familiarity with mobile privacy and consent frameworks.
