Mobile iOS Engineer (AI)

Salary: $180,000–$450,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and own the native hirify.global iOS application, including architecture, UI, performance, and the end-to-end user experience.
• Deliver real-time AI features such as streaming responses, voice input, tool invocations, and multimodal interactions.
• Collaborate with designers to create fast, polished, and trustworthy interfaces.
• Optimize startup time, animation smoothness, memory efficiency, and network latency.
• Own features from design and implementation through testing, launch, and iteration.
• Work with platform and backend engineers on APIs, data contracts, agent-runtime integration, and performance instrumentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of iOS engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and iOS system design.
• Experience building high-performance mobile applications and optimizing latency, memory, and real-time interactions.
• Experience designing and shipping intuitive, high-quality user experiences with strong attention to product detail.
• Familiarity with concurrency patterns including async/await and Combine.
• Experience integrating backend systems and AI-powered services through REST and streaming APIs, with end-to-end feature ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-powered or agent-driven applications involving voice, multimodal input, or real-time interaction.
• Experience in early-stage or 0-to-1 environments and rapid product iteration.
• Familiarity with AVFoundation, Core ML, or real-time media processing.
• Ability to work across the stack or closely with backend and AI teams.
