Product Designer (AI)

hirify.global is building an AI-powered legal operations platform for in-house legal teams, used by more than 500 companies and backed by $100M in funding.

What you will do

• Design and build UX and UI flows, components, and interactions that simplify complex legal workflows.
• Prototype concepts rapidly in code and validate ideas before full implementation.
• Bridge design and engineering by turning designs into polished, shipped frontend code.
• Own UI implementation quality, including detailed visual execution and interaction design.
• Help define product direction and frame ambiguous problems into end-to-end experiences.
• Contribute to design systems and component libraries, using AI to explore new interaction patterns.

Requirements

• Ability to build and ship frontend experiences with TypeScript, React, CSS, and animation.
• Strong product judgment, visual attention to detail, and commitment to polished execution.
• Ability to work independently from ambiguous problems through shipped experiences.
• Experience shaping project direction and influencing engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to prototype quickly and think in reusable, maintainable systems.
• Willingness to work from the Edinburgh office as the default.

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling design systems.
• Experience with developer tools, technical products, or complex software for expert users.
• Formal design training or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in how legal work is performed.
