DevSecOps Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; on-site

Salary: $150,000–$187,000 targeted annual base salary, excluding additional benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple languages and functions, primarily with GitHub Actions.
• Develop containerized build and test workflows, including base images, build caching, and artifact management with JFrog Artifactory.
• Secure the container supply chain by hardening images, managing trusted registries, and integrating image scanning into builds.
• Automate SBOM generation, vulnerability and license scanning, and static analysis across software artifacts and container images.
• Own code-signing infrastructure and verification workflows for software authenticity and integrity.
• Partner with embedded, ground, infrastructure, and software engineering teams on vulnerability remediation, threat modeling, secure coding, and developer security training.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status is required because the role involves access to export-controlled data.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform, DevSecOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on Docker and container development experience, including building, hardening, and optimizing images.
• Experience with secure container, SBOM, scanning, and artifact management tools such as Chainguard, JFrog Xray, Binarly, and JFrog Artifactory.

Nice to have

• Container orchestration experience with Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Linux and system administration.
• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.
• Familiarity with Black Duck or Klocwork.
