Civil Engineer E.I.T. (Land Development)

What you will do

• Support feasibility studies for project acquisitions, including concept planning, zoning analysis, preliminary grading, and cost estimating.
• Prepare civil construction plans for multi-family and residential subdivisions for agency permitting and approvals.
• Assist with engineering reports, design calculations, grading, drainage, utility, roadway, pavement, hydrology, and stormwater management design.
• Support construction-phase services, including site visits, submittal reviews, RFI coordination, and as-built reviews.
• Prepare lot fit exhibits using detailed house plans for single-family developments.
• Participate in project progress and agency review meetings, respond to review comments, monitor regulatory criteria, and coordinate with project managers and senior staff.

Requirements

• Land development experience is required.
• Ability to support design deliverables, permitting efforts, and project coordination under the direction of senior staff.
• Ability to analyze and interpret local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and criteria.
• Ability to work overtime and travel overnight.
• Ability to conduct business professionally and ethically and meet project deadlines.
