Senior Civil Project Manager

Location: Sarasota, Florida, United States

Salary: Up to USD 125,000 yearly; the salary range begins at USD 125,000 and depends on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Manage residential and commercial land development projects, including contracts, budgets, design, workloads, and permitting.
• Oversee construction projects and coordinate with construction inspectors.
• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and final construction design drawings.
• Prepare construction plans, detail drawings, project specifications, and permitting submittals.
• Review plans and perform roadway alignment, utility, quantity, and engineering cost calculations.
• Coordinate utility research and design, stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Senior-level experience, with approximately 10 or more years in civil engineering and project management.
• Professional Engineering license in Florida, or the ability to obtain or transfer it within one year of starting.
• Experience with contract administration, permitting, earthwork, site grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway design, hydrology and hydraulics, and utility design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and hydrology/hydraulics software such as StormCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with development and design processes specific to local geographic markets.
