Lead DevOps Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead and develop the DevOps team through mentoring, hiring, and best-practice definition.
• Own infrastructure strategy across cloud and on-premise clinical environments.
• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
• Drive CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code adoption.
• Improve observability, incident response, fault tolerance, performance, and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to ensure reliable software delivery and clinical-environment compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles involving scalable or production-critical systems.
• Experience leading or mentoring DevOps engineers and growing a technical function.
• Deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform or Ansible, plus monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Fluent English required; German is not required.
