is a fusion company developing hardware and software infrastructure for commercial stellarator fusion power plants, with teams across Munich, Zurich, and Oxford.
What you will do
- Design and develop a platform supporting stellarator simulation, optimization, and design workflows.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, including infrastructure as code, permissions, and cloud efficiency.
- Support cloud computing with Kubernetes, Ray, Dask, Docker, and PEX.
- Unify the development experience through CI/CD, devcontainers, and monorepos.
- Manage distributed computing and high-performance computing clusters for research and stellarator design.
- Improve observability and raise the standard of cross-organizational DevOps practices and DORA metrics.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science with understanding or hands-on experience in DevOps, CloudOps, or platform engineering.
- Experience developing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure for science, machine learning, or data-processing-heavy use cases.
- Experience with end-to-end and full-stack system design.
- Proficiency in Python and Linux.
- Ability to solve complex problems with simple, maintainable solutions.
