Container Platform Engineer (Germany)

Location: Germany

Salary: €3,300–€5,750 gross per month

What you will do

• Administer and operate Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker container platforms.
• Implement and maintain deployment and orchestration processes.
• Analyze faults and manage incidents and changes during ongoing operations.
• Monitor platform performance, maintain logging, and optimize operations.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines into existing operational processes.
• Execute updates, upgrades, configuration changes, security controls, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience operating and administering container platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker, including deployment and orchestration.
• Practical experience with fault analysis, incident and change management, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines and implementing security and compliance requirements.
• English at Intermediate level or above and German at Upper-Intermediate level or above.
• Willingness to undergo SÜ1/SÜ2 security checks if requested.

Nice to have

• Experience with SUSE Rancher, Tekton, Kasten K10, Istio, or Cloud Foundry.
